Our Story

My name is Hope and My husband we will call him TCH as in The Cat in the Hat because he really is like a big kid and does things to get in trouble but with good intentions. We have been together for 10 years and have known each other for 12 years. We started dating in High School. We Tried to conceive for 6 years, in that time we had 2 miscarriages then started the process to adopt Thing 1 I found out I was pregnant with Thing 2 during our process but the Birthmother still wanted to place with us. SO we now have Thing 1 & Thing 2 and they are only a couple of months apart. Luckily they are so close in age because I was put on bed rest the last few weeks of my pregnancy because of my high blood pressure and still ended up having thing 2  five weeks early. We spent a week in the Hospital and got to come home under the care of having some home nurses coming to visit every day for a week and multiple dr appointments in that time too. But Thing 2 was completely worth it in the end. Both kids are Happy, Healthy Smart and doing Great! Now that we are almost completely done with Diapers I want to have another baby, although I think I might go cloth this time. After seeing the bags of diapers go out at the end of the day from the daycare my children were attending I couldn’t believe how much waste there is after one day…. SO I am going to try to do my part to save the earth and not add any more Diapers to the land fills. This year we will make our Garden bigger so we can have more fresh veggies available all the time I can’t wait! I am such a Foodie I love to cook just hate to clean the kitchen. It’s hard for me to tell people how to make things I have come up with cause I rarely use measurements on things I make. I will try to measure things out when I make them so you can try them too.
